Nusery Manager

Kathy

My name is Kathy and I have worked in childcare for over 30 years now including working as a nanny, working in nurseries, working as part of the early years team for a local authority.

More recently I was in charge of a Sure Start Children’s Centre before becoming the manager of Little Faces Nursery, where I also worked as a nursery practitioner 14 years ago.

I hold a range of early year qualifications including a Foundation Degree in Early Years and Childcare and a BA (Hons) Degree in Education and Training.

I have a grownup son and a daughter, who are both currently studying, so I fully appreciate the time and dedication that is needed when bringing up children. As a parent we are the child’s first educator and the important role we play will lead to the child’s lifelong learning. My hobbies outside work include reading and kayaking.
